Hidden Treasures...

Yesterday I spent the morning photographing the beautiful KT. We found the most incredible spots around Griffith, many of them easy to drive past without noticing. I also got to live out a long time dream- to photograph in a canola field.

The day was perfect, and KT was amazing to photograph. She was open to all suggestions and only slightly raised one eyebrow when I said "Ok, so I am going to get you to dance down that row of almond trees". Crazy photographer lady strikes again! I think the dance shot turned out to be a cracker though.

Thank you KT and your wonderful family. Never before have I had cupcakes on a session, but now I am considering making it mandatory! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek...

A New Experience...

Last weekend I had my first ever "Trash the Dress" shoot. It turned out to be such a fun session with this mother and daughter duo. The setting was just gorgeous and the sky really turned it on for us.

Thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon filled with lots of laughs.

A little payback...

I mean payback in the nicest possible way.
DS and her beautiful family stayed with us last week and I managed to persuade her to let me take some photos of her on her own.
She has been such a big believer in Kurrabunya Photography since the very beginning. In fact, if it hadn't been for her creating a Facebook page last September, Kurrabunya Photography may never have eventuated.
When I go to Canberra for portrait sessions, she is my 'assistant' and we have loads of fun. Since the photos were to to be of her this time, I had to find another assistant. Thank you RB for stepping up to the plate, you have talent well beyond your 4 and a half years (even if you did get tired and made DS take over your job at the end).
To you DS, I say an enormous thank you. Your gentle shove encouraged me to give this whole business thing a go, and I'm so glad that I did.

Rain or Shine

Last weekend we had another set of beautiful visitors at our place and another opportunity to photograph a stunning woman. This time we wandered over to the train tracks and had such a terrific time creating these shots.

A short rainstorm halfway through our session only added to the experience.
CS is an amazing person and it was my pleasure to spend some
one on one time with her.

Thank you CS for taking time out for yourself.
I hope you are as happy with these as I am. SBxx

Time well spent...

We had the pleasure of having KP and her beautiful family visit us over the Easter break and in between street festivals and looking after our little ones, we managed to make time to capture these pictures.

She is truly one of life's natural beauties, and I had such a wonderful time taking these photos. The sun was about to set, and the light was amazing out the back of our place.

Thank you KP, you are amazing, SBxx

On the Hill

I had been wanting to do this photo session for a while now, and a few weeks ago it finally happened. NB was absolutely amazing. We went up to the lookout and he just did his own thing. Wearing a suit on a Saturday afternoon when there is not wedding to go to is a big ask, but NB did it without complaint. I was so happy with the way these turned out, and I think he was too...

NB, you are a Superstar. Thank you. SBxx
