Village Wedding

We went to the most beautiful wedding a couple of weeks ago. The bride and groom have been together for around 14 years and decided that the time was right to get married.

It was also a chance for our old high school crew to get together. I grew up with these guys and I am proud to say that time and distance has done nothing to diminish our friendship.

The happy couple weren't after a lot of posed photographs, instead more or less a documentation of the day, which included a cricket match of the Bride's XI verses the Groom's XI.

Guests traveled from all over the world to be there for the Big Day.

 

Such a wonderful day, and such wonderful friends.

On the Hill

I had been wanting to do this photo session for a while now, and a few weeks ago it finally happened. NB was absolutely amazing. We went up to the lookout and he just did his own thing. Wearing a suit on a Saturday afternoon when there is not wedding to go to is a big ask, but NB did it without complaint. I was so happy with the way these turned out, and I think he was too...

Out at the lake...

I recently photographed a group of siblings before one went off to Uni, and another moved overseas.

They were fabulous to work with and we ended up with some terrific shots at the end of the session.

Little Pea in a Pod

Lovely friends of ours, who have appeared on this blog before (family photos at a winery), recently welcomed a new little princess into their family.

I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph her while she was still in the 'Snugglebug' stage...

My fabulous Mum knitted this beautiful 'Peapod' and I was
dying to try it out.

This little princess was an absolute star, coping with wardrobe changes like a pro!

Congratulations B & K, she is absolutely beautiful...

Fun at the park...

A portrait session in Canberra proved to be a great excuse to catch up with old friends. It was good fun made even better as my sister was able to join us, relishing her title of 'Photographer's Assistant'.

These little ones are absolutely gorgeous and each one is full of their own unique character....

Isn't she lovely....

On Sunday morning I had the pleasure of photographing some of our closest friends and their divine children.

You may remember KP & CK from the very first blog post. KP had the most perfect bump ever.

Little Miss is the youngest client ever of Kurrabunya Photography, at a whopping 7 days old.

She was so patient and snoozed most of the time. I felt so lucky to be able to spend a terrific morning with her and her amazing big brother and parents.

Just plain fun!

                                                                           Had the opportunity to photograph some wonderful siblings and their fabulous friends a little while ago. I was so happy with the way these turned out. We all had a brilliant time coming up with ideas for shots.  And yes, I do want those red shoes!

Three Generations, One Great Day!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family on their gorgeous property. They were absolutely fantastic to work with and made my job easy. There were so many gorgeous spots to use as backgrounds, we were spoilt for choice.

Tummy Time!

Recently I visited a lovely friend who is expecting her first baby. She was kind enough to let me take some photos of her absolutely stunning belly. I love the fact that even the dog has a smile in the photo! Thank you A & D, for trusting me to capture this special time in your lives. I cannot wait to meet the little one!

Gorgeous Baby Girl!

Last week I rang a friend and bullied her into letting me take photos of her beautiful baby girl.

She was so well behaved and put up with alot of moving around. The little princess even went to sleep with only a little encouragement from her Mum.
