Project 365: 24th-30th July

24th July- MB enjoying snuggles with my lovely sister in law, KB. (iphone)

25th July- EB practising her sad face. Not a bad effort.

26th July- Chicken salt, how we love thee. (iphone)

27th July- RB after her first day back at school after her tonsil op. (iphone)

28th July- Popped inside to answer the phone, and when I came back I found this scene. EB!!! (iphone)

29th July- How much do we love the toddler seat?? (iphone)

30th July- After weeks of paying off his remote control car layby, today was the day AB got to pick it up. Time seemed to stand still while he waited for the battery to charge, but then he was off like a rocket out the back to take it off some sweet jumps.

"And now," cried Max, "let the wild rumpus start!"

Project 365: 17th-23rd July

17th July- NB created this delish dinner, inspired a little by Masterchef. The rolls were labelled because the children had to pick what they would like inside theirs. NB= awesome Dad/Husband.

18th July- NB had given AB Lego challenges, to encourage him to build things from scratch ('like we did back in our day') instead of just building the kits. This was the truck with 6 wheels challenge.

19th July- Sleepy MB on his dad's chest, with my gorgeous sister DS photobombing behind them. This is a natural talent she's had since childhood. (iphone)

20th July- EB and her cousin PS. I look at this photo and sing the Giggle and Hoot song "My best friend, my best friend..."

21st July- Yep, she's still on it. (iphone)

22nd July- NB and MB tired out after a big day. (iphone)

23rd July- AB & RB decided to do an experiment with fruit tingles and Coke. I've got to admit, we were all a little disappointed with the lack of exploding fiz.

Max: Part 2

Close your eyes,
Have no fear,
The monster's gone,
He's on the run and your daddy's here,
Beautiful,
 beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy

Max: Part 1

I don't want to clutter this post up with my words, partly because I am typing one handed while holding the little prince. He is not even two weeks old yet, and already we can't remember life before him. These shots below were taken last weekend, when he was only five days old. More to come soon.
Welcome to the world little man, you are so loved.

Project 365: 10th-16th July

10th July- Usually I am not a fan of toes, but for MB's 5 day old toes, I'm happy to make an exception.

11th July-In Albury for RB to have her tonsils/adenoids out, we had dinner in this funky diner. (iphone)

12th July- RB was so brave throughout the whole experience. The doctors and nurses were incredible and really know their stuff, not just medically, but how to put kids (and their parents!) at ease. Also, this was RB's first taste of Coke (as in the drink, recommended by Dr) and since then she has been on it all day everyday. We are wondering if she is going to have caffeine withdrawals after day 10 when we cut her off. (iphone)

13th July- Feeling well enough for a cuddle with MB. (iphone)

14th July- MB, nine days new!

15th July- Ok, so not strictly one photo, and I don't usually post out takes, but I wanted to show the build up to my favourite shot in a very long time. Trying to get one of the four children together, EB is being, well, EB! The last frame is what she did just before we got the magic shot (which I'll post soon).

16th July- EB wearing the snazzy new frog boots my sister gave her. Thanks to EB's Nonno for keeping her still so I could catch them. (iphone)
