Project 365: 18th-24th September

All the photos from this week are rather grainy iphone pics I'm afraid. Some weeks are like that...

18th September- Every Sunday we have pancakes for breakfast, but this time it was a pancake picnic. Little ones thought we were the best parents ever.

19th September- MB celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day in the onesie my sister created for him.

20th September- RB's tooth FINALLY came out. It was a little like the story about the enormous turnip, almost all of us had a turn at trying to pull it out. RB finally got the job done.

21st September- The Tooth Fairy left this under RB's pillow. She was so excited because she could read it all by herself.

22nd September- NB and I shared our 10 year wedding anniversary. Time really does fly when you're having fun.

23rd September- MB does not look happy at all to be in a sea of pink!

24th September- The sweeto wool I found for my mum to create a few little props.

Project 365: 11th-17th September

11th September- Straightened EB's hair for a family lunch, cannot believe a) how long it is and b) how grown up she looks! (iphone)

12th September- It would appear my son and I share the same approach to exercise.

13th September- LOVE LOVE LOVE Skype. I don't know where we'd be without it. This is my beautiful sister and her gorgeous little girl.

14th September- Trying out a new location for photos, I just love the look on EB's face whilst hugging the 'big kids' (her words).

16th September- My inlaws grew these spectacular tulips. I'd never seen this type before, and sent this picture to my mum. She asked if EB had got at them with a pair of scissors! Um, no. (iphone)

17th September- We have a wonderful friend who loves a good Chicko roll. NB and I saw these at the supermarket thought he would love this genius flavour combination (and yes, this was the only photo I took during the day!) (iphone)

17th September- Brought a lovely family here for a photography session. Not a bad backdrop at all.

Project 365: 4th-10th September

A couple of different 'rare moments' captured this week.

4th September- Rare moment # 1. EB not only looking, but smiling at the camera.

5th September- All of them snuggling on the couch. EB doing her thing. (iphone)

6th September- NB doing his impersonation of Pepe the packhorse. Usually the children bring in their own bags (and selves), but it was raining and he was feeling generous. (iphone)

7th September- MB was snoozing on me and I wanted to see if he would stay asleep on the couch in the same position. Yep.

8th September- Out with the little ones scouting for new locations to use for family shoots. (iphone)

9th September- Gesundheit!! (iphone)

10th September- Rare moment # 2. AB told Diesel to sit, AND HE DID!!

Project 365: 28th August- 3rd September

What a wonderfully uneventful week!

28th August - On the way back from Canberra, EB was fascinated by the 'yellow'.

29th August- Having a play around with water droplets. Not hugely successful. Next time...

30th August- MB, exactly 8 weeks after he arrived.

31st August- My awesome action shot of my wonderfully fabulous sister in law on her 30th birthday. (iphone)

1st September- Book week. AB is George from George's marvellous medicine. RB is Tinkerbelle.

2nd September- I visited a terrific local school for their 'Carnivale' and noticed this cool tree. (iphone)

3rd September- Getting ready for her second ever ballet lesson, EB's already got the moves!

Project 365: 7th-27th August

It's been a while since I've posted but life gets a little unexpected, frantic and even a little scary sometimes.

A few weeks ago, the littlest man, MB got very sick very quickly and had to go to hospital. He was 5 weeks old at the time and it was honestly the scariest time I have ever gone through as a parent. He spent 4 days in hospital on a drip being pumped full of three different antibiotics to treat an infection he had developed. We still don't know how he got it, we just know that he improved after the medicine. The poor little bloke had to endure some fairly horrific tests but was an absolute trooper through everything. We were lucky enough to have both my parents and NB's parents on hand to help out with the other little ones so I could stay in the hospital with MB.  xxx to them.

So below are all the pics from then till now. Not always easy pictures to look at, but the 365 project has been about documenting our year, for better or worse. There's been a couple of fairly significant speedbumps this year, but also some pretty amazing times too.

7th August- The little white fluffball is no longer so little... or white.

8th August- EB on the way to daycare, ready for anything.

9th August- Absolute hours of entertainment for a toddler.

10th August- I love that the three older children can sit anywhere, but choose to surround their little brother.

11th August- Very sick little bubba

12th August- Brave little man.

13th August- It's clear he's feeling better here, I love this photo.

14th August- Just after the drip was taken out and we were told we could take him home. Yay!

15th August- The magnolias are out at my inlaws', love them.

16th August- Enjoying the wonderful normality of life.

17th August- My new lens arrived, hurray!

18th August- Little man all snuggled up in his carseat. He's channelling his Godfather here, who has a thing for beanies at the moment.

19th August- Testing out my new lens on the gorgeous RB.

20th August- Banjo after his bath.

21st August- Continuing the decorating of MB's room.

22nd August- More lens experiments.

23rd August- Took some photos of the Kindy kids at school for an upcoming brochure they are putting together.

24th August- That is one tired bubba!

25th August- A beautiful warm day, MB was kicking back outside at his Nonna's house.

26th August- EB, ready for adventure, on our way to Canberra to surprise a beautiful friend who wasn't well.

27th August- Gorgeous blossoms outside the hospital where our lovely friend was staying. She is feeling better now and we wish her a speedy recovery, xxx.

Project 365: 31st July- 6 August

31st July- A snazzy present for MB from a wonderful friend who came around to visit.

1st August- What, doesn't everybody wear a fascinator to breakfast on a Monday?

2nd August- See, it is a girls' name! When we named EB, we had quite a few people asking "isn't that just a boys' name?" (iphone)

3rd August- Such an insanely beautiful day. I'd be happy if Griffith weather was like it all year round. (iphone)

4th August- A snapshot of their relationship- RB always wanting to help and EB once in a while letting her.

5th August- The boys watching footy. It starts young. As does the bitter disappointment when their team loses.

6th August- Falling asleep on the floor, that is one tired EB.
