Winter maternity session

What a lovely way to start a weekend. R & T popped out to our place for a maternity portrait session and it was great fun. They both did a wonderful job, and weren't put off with my three little ones running laps of our driveway, almost becoming part of the shoot!
R & T, I wish you both the very best for your new adventure, and hope you enjoy every second of parenthood.

What a treat!

I had the most beautiful morning yesterday. I photographed a gorgeous, amazing little man, only 8 days new! A few weeks ago, I had taken some belly pictures of his mum and  it was really lovely to finally meet him.

He was an absolute superstar, and we got some terrific shots of him (and his cute-as-a-button big sister).

Winter in the capital...

We were in Canberra last weekend, and while we were there I got to spend time with this amazing family in a fabulous location. Well it was fabulous once I (almost) managed to ignore the fact there were bats in the trees above us. Bats! Anyway, we had a stack of fun getting these shots and had a great catchup session in the process. Thank you K & G, you all did a brilliant job, the girls are superstars and I am so glad we made time to do these. SBxx

A New Experience...

Last weekend I had my first ever "Trash the Dress" shoot. It turned out to be such a fun session with this mother and daughter duo. The setting was just gorgeous and the sky really turned it on for us.

Thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon filled with lots of laughs.

B's Beautiful Belly!

Last week I bought some new indoor lighting stuff and was thrilled when my cousin (alright my husband's cousin, but I am claiming her as my own!) agreed to come over and let me test it out on her and her beautiful bump!

We also got some great shots outside.

Handsome baby boy...

What a beautiful little boy! Thirteen days old and completely divine. 

Although he only wanted to sleep for a little while, we managed to get some gorgeous shots of his snooziness!

Beautiful Baby Bump...

I had coffee with a great friend the other day and while I was there I convinced her to let me take some photos of her beautiful bump. I'm so glad she said yes because I am thrilled with the way these turned  out.

Beautiful baby girl...

I had a terrific morning last Sunday when I caught up with lovely friends and photographed their gorgeous baby girl. She was so good and even fell asleep on me when I had a cuddle. 

She seems a natural in front of the camera, even smiling for us at one stage!

Three of a kind...

What a gorgeous bunch of boys! Their mum asked me to photograph the newest addition to the family and we had a lovely afternoon capturing these images. 

From what Mum told me, the big brothers were not keen on being in any photos, but once we started, they couldn't get enough!

Thank you for thinking of me RW, your little ones are just beautiful!

A little payback...

I mean payback in the nicest possible way.

DS and her beautiful family stayed with us last week and I managed to persuade her to let me take some photos of her on her own.

She has been such a big believer in Kurrabunya Photography since the very beginning. In fact, if it hadn't been for her creating a Facebook page last September, Kurrabunya Photography may never have eventuated.

When I go to Canberra for portrait sessions, she is my 'assistant' and we have loads of fun. Since the photos were to to be of her this time, I had to find another assistant. Thank you RB for stepping up to the plate, you have talent well beyond your 4 and a half years (even if you did get tired and made DS take over your job at the end).

To you DS, I say an enormous thank you. Your gentle shove encouraged me to give this whole business thing a go, and I'm so glad that I did.
